Why Review Every Year

5 reasons your coverage deserves a second look this AEP

💊

Your drug coverage may have changed

A plan's formulary, cost-sharing, pharmacy network, and coverage rules may change for a new plan year. Review your Annual Notice of Change and compare your medications against current plan materials.

🏥

Your doctor's network status may have changed

Provider participation can change. Check your doctors and facilities with the specific plan and provider office for the coverage year you are considering.

📋

Plan options can change

Plans, carriers, and benefits vary by county and coverage year. Check current options for your ZIP code and compare them with your needs.

⭐

Your plan's star rating may have changed

CMS ratings can change by contract and plan year. Consider the current rating alongside coverage, costs, provider networks, and your own needs.

💰

2027 Part D amounts are finalized

For 2027, the defined-standard Part D deductible is $700 and the annual out-of-pocket threshold for covered Part D drugs is $2,400. Plan-specific costs and coverage rules vary; premiums are not included in that threshold.

Questions about the free review

Is there any cost to meet with you?

No. As an independent licensed agent, we're compensated by carriers when you enroll in a plan we represent. There is no fee for a consultation.

What if I'm happy with my current plan?

That's a fine outcome. After reviewing your Annual Notice of Change and comparing it to available options, you may confirm your plan is still the right fit. You're under no obligation to switch.

Can we meet by phone instead of in person?

Yes — the majority of consultations are done by phone or video call. Kayla Price serves clients throughout North Carolina and can review your plan options remotely.

What if I miss the December 7 deadline?

If you miss AEP, you can make one switch between Medicare Advantage plans during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (January 1–March 31). However, you cannot use that window to add Part D coverage or return to Original Medicare with full flexibility. It's best to act before December 7.

Review your options before December 7.

AEP ends December 7. Some people may qualify for other enrollment periods, but the changes available and eligibility rules depend on their circumstances. Book a free review to discuss the plans we represent.
